A PRETTY PENNY

To coin a phrase; to phrase a
coin
Forgiven now, for blustering
noise
No gentle nod, nor simple
smile
Head hung in unrequited lover’s
pose
Hopeless, lost – swaying in open
meadows
Or abandoned upon a heath. Dust filled
heath
Lonely; filled with thinking; very
alone
Attention sought, a Beauty’s gaze, an errant
kiss
Begging bowls of fools filled and
filed
She notices none of it, we are
denied
